Bağdat Street has recently returned to it’s busy and popular days. Particularly in Suadiye, numerous new and unique locations are opening. Those living on the Anatolian side prefer these places to socialize. Peat & Sherry, which we will talk about now; is a unique whiskey bar, different from many cafes/restaurants opened on the Bağdat street. The place, which has a brasserie bar concept and has a stylish and modern atmosphere; focuses on a single specific subject (whisky).
With it’s qualified bar and alcohol menu, the location has quickly attracted drink culture enthusiasts. The establishment serves whiskey variety. All whiskeys, from the cheapest to the most expensive; are served with the glass. One of the this place’s founders and whiskey mentor Gürkan Gümüş leads whiskey tasting sessions in Peat&Sherry. There are 340 types of whiskey here. There are also several variets of cocktails available. Additionally, there are some dishes that may be shared, including charcuterie plates that go well with whiskeys.
