>Successful street food eateries have started popping up throughout the city recently. However, Basta Kadıköy, one of these restaurants that is among the greatest and has been running successfully for 5 years, is still is the best. The venue, created by successful and Michelin-starred chefs Kaan Sakarya and Deniz Arbaş, introduced us to a wide variety of flavours in a small shop in Kadıköy. They were even so successful that; Basta’s second branch was opened as Basta Neo Bistro in a larger area in Göztepe. However, the cozy shop Basta Kadıköy is still very popular and preferred.
The menu offers minimal diversity. Everything is handcrafted and chosen according to the season. The sauces, in particular, are so amazing that they give the food you will consume a wonderful flavor. Delicious wraps prepared as veal, lamb and vegetarian, also lamb burgers are on the menu. There are starters such as hummus and the salad of the day. Additionally, desserts like Paris Brest and Basta Rice Pudding must be tried.
