One of İstanbul’s most ethnically varied neighborhoods is Balat. With it’s historical buildings, unique neighborhood culture and cafes/restaurants, it is a location that many people prefer to socialize. While new venues (cafe/restaurant) were slowly opening up in Balat years ago, Forno Balat was one of the first of these venues and Forno Balat continues to be as well-liked and high-quality as it was when it first opened. The modern, colorful atmosphere is great in here. Forno is a very cozy environment also. You can also feel the history here as it is located in a historical building.
Here, freshly baked pita breads, lahmacun, and pizzas are available. The pita breads are quite tasty. Among the most popular foods are beef rib pizza, cubed pita, and particularly Trabzon cheese pita. On weekdays, a mixed breakfast is also served here. On weekends, there is an open buffet breakfast. It is possible to come with your family or friends and enjoy the flavors of Forno Balat in the morning. Croissants, egg rolls, jams, cheeses, pita bread, and many other foods are available on the breakfast buffet. It’s a really pleasant experience.
