Hacıbekir is a classic sweet shop that has been selling Turkish delight and various sweets including candy, licorice, almond candy and milk and sherbet desserts (like baklava) since 1777. Hacıbekir has branches in various locations in Istanbul such as Eminönü, Kadıköy, Bakırköy and Maslak as well as one in Ankara. The Beyoğlu branch introduces a different concept as the first dessert bar on Istiklal Street. Guests can choose desserts directly from a display band and enjoy them at the bar.
Hacıbekir İstiklal Caddesi with it’s roots dating back to the Ottoman period, combines the best candies and desserts offering a historical touch to it’s guests. The three-storey store has a designated area on the first floor where guests can see and purchase desserts. The top floor provides a seating area with a view of istiklal Street; offering an elevated experience of enjoying the desserts. The dessert bar not only offers a variety of traditional sweets but also serves coffee and different desserts for a well-rounded experience.
