Chef Okitasan, inspired by Asian cuisine during travels to New York as a university student, brought that culinary influence to Turkey in 2012 by establishing İoki. İoki has been hosting guests in İstinye since June 2011 with additional branches in Kandilli since 2012 and Ulus since May 2015. Also In January 2015, Ioki received the prestigious “Best Asian Cuisine” award in Istanbul. Now they have a new branch in Yeniköy named ‘’İoki Nau’’.
Ioki Nau maintains the stylish atmosphere of other branches, yet it creates a slightly different and modern ambiance with a dominant burgundy color scheme, the restaurant covers a spacious area, offering a romantic atmosphere and several unique features. It serves not only as a restaurant presenting the best examples of Asian cuisine but also as an event space/bar with classic and signature cocktails. It is hosting numerous musical events, especially on weekends. Ioki Nau transcends being just a restaurant—it’s an enjoyable venue for fun, music and various celebrations like birthdays and anniversaries.
Ioki’s different menu includes soups, salads, starters like truffle edamame, sweet potato fries, Shrimp Taco and Salmon Tartar, tempuras, a variety of delicious sushi, nigiri, sashimi, rice/noodles and main dishes such as Seafood Tepenyaki, Teriyaki Chicken, Spicy Beef, and Hawaiian Bowl. The open kitchen allows guests to witness the cooking process of these dishes and the preparation of sushi.
