Beyoğlu has recently been moving to recovering it’s prior form. It’s just as crowded here as it was before. Beyoğlu is popular to socialize and eat well meal. Asmalımescit and the places around it also help to re-establish this spirit. Chef Cem Ekşi, who founded the venues in this district; caused this crowd of Asmalımescit. Especially Mabou Pera is one of my favorite places.
In back street of Mabou, Cem Ekşi, the creator and chef of Mabou Pera opened a brand new venue; Bordel Imbiss. Bordel Imbiss is a tiny and cozy restaurant on Journal Street. There are unique and different street foods in here, all of them are really delicious.
Also the sauces are handmade here. Currywurst, Taze Sucuk Ekmek, Azgın Tavuk and mac&old cheddar and pici cacio e pepe are among the most popular dishes in Bordel İmbiss. Beer is also served with meals. Although there isn’t much seating, there is a bar area where there are quick meals. You can drop over and grab a bite to eat.
